Two ferry companies have announced plans to work together on inter-island services between Guernsey and Jersey from next month.

Brittany Ferries and Islands Unlimited said the collaboration would help “boost passenger numbers”.

Under the new agreement, Island Unlimited’s services will run for up to five days a week service between the islands, operating March through to October, and will be available through Brittany Ferries reservations and website.

Director of sales and marketing for Brittany Ferries Paul Acheson described the agreement as a “practical and workable solution that strengthens inter-island connectivity”.
